Junior Section

Lincoln City Netball Club Junior Section provides the chance to join in, train and have fun playing netball for all from 8 and above.

We play netball from high 5's onwards and have county teams from 12 - 16.

We provide high quality coaching and offer the chance to develop netball skills to a high standard. Girls who have come through the club are now playing at Regional and National level and in the Superleague development squads.

High 5's

High 5 netball is an adapted form of regular netball for netball fanatics under the age of 11, which teaches them several different positions in order to become more versatile.

High 5 netball is a great way to improve co-ordination and teamwork; and lets you make friends and have fun along the way!

We are also entered in several Lincolnshire leagues, and compete in some local tournaments to give the players some experience of competitive play.

The adapted netball game typically features...

5 players on the court
Other squad members take on the roles of timekeeper, score, umpire and centre pass marker
Squad rotation
Size 4 Netball
9ft post
4 seconds to pass the ball
Normal court markings - up to a full sized court
4 quarters of 6 minutes
