The club held it's annual presentation evening at the Monk's Road Club on the 18th June. There was a great turn out and it was good to see so many players, parents and supporters turning out to celebrate the success of the club.

There were many awards and successes to celebrate including the Under 16's winning the play-offs to enter the regional league, the under 19's winning the regional play-offs, players being selected for Regional Development squads and National trials.

The under 19's squad showed once again the depth of talent at the club by winning the East Midlands Regional under 19's tournament with a game to spare.

On a fine but chilly March day, the players didn't show any ill effects from the lost hour of sleep (having just put the clocks forward) winning the first game by a convincing 22-11. From there they went from strength to strength, winning 6 games on the trot over teams from throughout the region - including good victories over Lincolnshire rivals Brigg and Barge (17-3 and 11-8 respectively).

Having won the first 6 games, the tournament was already won, so losing the last game in a close contest (6-8) didn't effect the overall outcome.

So well done to all the players who interchanged superbly thoughout the day, supporting each other, providing options all over the court and playing fluent, positive netball.

The under 19's team continued their impressive form with a win against old rivals Barge and Bottle. It was a close, hard fought game with Lincoln winning the first and last quarters and Barge edging the middle part of the game. But the Lincoln players held fast to with the last quarter 9-5 and the game overall 38-34.

The under 19's scored an emphatic victory in their second County League game of the season at Horncastle. The players controlled the game from the start, winning all the quarters and, ultimately, won convincingly 41-16.

Congratulations go out to two of the clubs rising stars - Natalie Simpson and Laura Maloney - who were successful in being selected for the Players Regional Talent Development Programme.
