It was nice not only to see clubs
coming from all over the country to the Lincoln City Tournament this
weekend but also the winning tropheys going all over the country also.

Thank you to everyone who helped out in any way and to all the clubs who

Chelmsford Tournament - May 9th 2004
Congratulations to all the teams who represented Lincoln City in the
Chelmsford Tournament.
We had some fantastic results!
U13s WON their section (giving them 2 firsts and 2 runners-up in just 3
weeks)
U15s were narrowly beaten in their section and finished as runners-up
U12 s finished 3rd
U14s finished 4th
This was the best results ever achieved in a single tournament by the club.
Well done to everyone who took part.

May 2004
Essex Open - May 1st &
Teagate Tournament May 2nd
Well our new training regime and venue certainly suits the U13s.
We've only been there 2 weeks and they've already reached 3 tournament
finals (winning one and runner's up in the other two).
After last week's success up north at South Shields (where
they were runner's up) they were all fired up for this weekend's
tournaments down south
At the Essex Open they won the final 10-9 (by a golden goal
against Robins).
Then despite a long night of celebrations (so I've been told!!!)
they headed straight for Teagate where they again reached the finals (just
losing out to Turnford).
An absolutely fantastic achievement but thoroughly deserved for all their
hard work.
The U14s played some fantastic netball all
weekend. They were 3rd in their group at Essex and missed out on a medal
by a single goal at Teagate. They needed to beat Essex Open but could only
manage a 9-9 draw.
The U12s were also in great form. Despite
having a key player missing through illness they reached the quarter
finals at Essex.
What was also notable was the number of other club coaches who came up
to congratulate us on both the standard of our play and the conduct of our
players.
Congratulations to everyone involved at the weekend.
Gooooooo LINCOLN!!!!!

club.

Helena Grady, Lucy Heathershaw and Jenny Gilleberg (all U15)
and Lucy Illingworth and Nena Lawrence (both U14)

Nottinghamshire Leagues 2002- 2003
Well the leagues are all finally over for another
season and once again Lincoln have lots to celebrate.
The Senior A team (one of
the youngest teams in the league) were runners-up in their very strong
league and gained promotion to the Premier League.
The U14s had yet another
unbeaten season (this is the 4th in a row) and won their league in
convincing style.
The U13s only narrowly
missed being league champions again but finished as very respectable
runners-up.
And what about the U12s? For
the second year running they were unbeaten and finished yet again as
League Champions.
Well done to all those girls
who have taken part in the leagues this year. And thanks also to all the
umpires, team managers and parents who have given up their time it make it
